Head Division

Archchancellor: The Archchancellor position is one of a figurehead only, the true head of the order is Miko Svoboda. While his puppet acts as a face for him, Miko oversees all movement within the order and his word is law. He is considered akin to a saint, and as such is revered as God's champion upon the earth. As such, only the chancellors are permitted to speak with him, or to look upon his true visage. All other communications are otherwise passed through the proper channels.

Chancellor: A group of seven consisting of the strongest warriors and most adept arcane users of the order. They are second in command to Miko, and as such are to be obeyed without fault unless superseded by Miko himself. If Miko is the brain of the order, then the Chancellors are the cogs that keep things running smoothly. They are the order's intelligence centre; incorporating new policies, laws and orders, from giving the green light to experiments to accepting proposed changes to member training. They are the ones who keep detailed records of the births and deaths of demi-gods and other beings of interest. These records are sent down the proper channels to initiate missions to either eliminate or capture a target.

Arcane Branch

Archmagus: The Archmagus sits at the head of the arcane branch of the order. Second to the Chancellors, they are the most adept mage within the order. They oversee all training as well as the records of new initiates and transfers from the militia branch. Proposals for experiments of arcane nature must be submitted to the Archmagus, who will then pass the proposal up to the Chancellors for approval or rejection. The position is one that is more bureaucratic than it is a seat of power.

Maester: Maesters are the teachers within the order. They create the lesson plans and training for those within the order. Along with this, they also oversee approved experimentations while conducting with their own studies. In cases of level 4 and level 5 targets, they will partner up with the assigned soldier to assist in capturing or eliminating the threat.

Magus: The Magus are those who have advanced in the arcane arts and have chosen specializations to focus their studies in. One must have been granted the status of Magus before they are allowed to put forward proposals and conduct experiments pertaining to the arcane arts. They can be called in to assist with level 3 and level 4 targets.

Adept: Adepts are the arcane users in the order who are in their final year of study before partaking in the test to advance to the level of Magus. When they are not studying, they will be out in the field assisting with level 3 targets to gain the necessary hours in order to graduate.

Initiate: Initiates are the grunt workers of the arcane branch. They are under a strict training regiment with every one of their waking hours planned out by Maesters. They wake up at a scheduled time, eat at a scheduled time, attend scheduled lessons and gain experience in the field by assisting with level 2, and rarely level 3, targets.

Neophyte: Those who have passed the basics of the arcane branch's testing reach the level of Neophyte. It is a mage boot camp where their minds and bodies are honed to be able to handle the stress that the use of the arcane arts puts their bodies through. There is little down time for a Neophyte, as when they are not training they are sent out to take care of level 1 targets in order to gain the field experience and to learn more about the tainted beings they hunt. Those that cannot complete a level 1 assignment for whatever reason are permanently removed from the order.

Novice: Novices are the lowest dregs of the arcane branch. They are members who were recruited due to the promise of talent they showed, or have transferred from the military branch in order to cross-train. Training includes in-depth lessons on the supernatural beings that exist in the world and how they are a scourge on the earth. They are indoctrinated to the vision of the order and perform all of the menial work within the order's headquarters, from cooking to cleaning to assisting other members with requests. They are generally prohibited from field work, but will be assigned to shadow on level 2 assignments so they can see the true nature of supernatural beings.

Military Branch

Praetor: The Praetor sits at the head of the military branch. It is a position awarded to only 2, and they must have shown great mastery in multiple crafts as well as great intellect in strategy in order to gain the position. They are the ones who put together strategic teams when a level 5 target is sent their way, They are capable of taking on level 4 assignments solo. They answer only to the Chancellors, and ensure that all training is being help up to the expectations of the order.

General: Generals have completed mastery in their craft and are assigned to oversee training of recruits. There are very few students in the Legate position that they will take under the wing to assist in them gaining mastery as well. They are assigned level 4 targets, occasionally taking students who have shown valuable skill along with them to shadow a hunt. Ensuring upkeep of all assigned equipment falls as a duty to Generals.

Legate: Legates have spent years studying in their specializations and are close to reaching mastery. They assist with training under the watchful eyes of the Generals, hoping to gain favour to complete their training under a master of their arts in order to be considered for promotion. They assist on level 4 assignments in order to gain experience handling more dangerous targets. They are allowed to complete level 3 assignments unsupervised.

Tribune: Those promoted to Tribune can begin to chose specializations in what ever form of martial arts and weaponry they have aptitude for. They are paired up with Legates who have more years of study in their chosen craft and partake in a much harsher regiment. They are assigned to level 3 targets, under supervision.

Centurion: Once promoted, training expands to include in-depth education in hand-to-hand arts and various weapons. Basic training in the arcane arts is also provided to those with the aptitude for it. Centurions spend years honing their minds and bodies in service to the order. They are sent on level 2 assignments and spend every waking moment dedicating themselves to their craft. Those in line for promotion can chose to transfer to the arcane branch in order to gain a new skill set to refine themselves into a better soldier.

Legionary: Legionaries are the lowest rung of the military branch. Every waking moment is spent training in various combat forms along with in-depth lessons on supernatural beings, including possible and confirmed weaknesses. They are frequently sent on level 1 assignments for the field experience, and occasionally assist on level 2 assignments. Training is harsh and not many make it to promotion.
